Our Story
"My vision is for people to always leave feeling amazing and have a positive, life changing experience; with or without treatment"

Born from a Passion for Natural Beauty

After facing major life challenges including being a single mother, financial hardship during the credit crunch, and struggles with health and self-esteem I reached a turning point at 30. Realising I didn't want a future filled with fear and unhappiness, I chose to take control of my life. This sparked a journey of self-development and personal growth, transforming both my mindset and actions, and ultimately leading me to pursue what I truly love.

Purple Aura was created as a unique business, free from others' limits or expectations, where I could combine all my passions. Built on the belief that many people share these interests, its aim is to inspire others to live their best life.

I've combined my passion for high-end aesthetic treatments with a focus on natural, plant-based products and advanced technology to help people achieve great results. Alongside this, I share knowledge on improving internal health, emotional wellbeing, and personal development. My growth journey is ongoing, and I invite others to be part of it too.

Our Vision

My vision is for every person who walks through our doors to always leave feeling amazing, with a positive, life-changing experience — with or without treatment. Purple Aura exists to be more than a clinic: a space where natural beauty, holistic wellbeing and genuine care come together, helping our clients feel confident in their own skin and inspired to live their best life.

As we grow, we remain committed to combining advanced, evidence-based aesthetics with plant-based products and a focus on emotional wellbeing — building a community rooted in self-development, sustainability and lasting results.

Lorna is an Advanced Clinical Practitioner and Non-Medical Prescriber with over 16 years of nursing experience. She began her healthcare career at 18, working in dementia care before qualifying as a nurse. Alongside her work in aesthetics, she continues to work within the NHS in general practice, ensuring her clinical knowledge remains current and evidence-based. With a Master's degree in Advanced Clinical Practice and a passion for patient care, Lorna combines clinical expertise with a compassionate approach, helping clients feel confident, refreshed, and the best version of themselves.

Clinic Policies

Your safety and confidentiality are at the heart of everything we do. This policy ensures that:

  • Personal data is processed lawfully and safely
  • Patient confidentiality is always maintained
  • Staff follow consistent, auditable procedures
  • The clinic meets its obligations under the UK GDPR & Data Protection Act 2018, the NMC Code, ICO guidance, and aesthetic sector best practice (JCCP, BAMAN)

It applies to all patient and staff data — electronic, paper or verbal — across every clinical and administrative system we use.

Purple Aura operates a shared clinical environment, where independent practitioners deliver services within the same premises. Each practitioner runs their own business, keeps independent clinical records, and uses their own secure Aesthetic Nurse Software (ANS) patient records system. Systems are kept separate and secure, with no routine shared access between practitioners.
Holly Price is the Data Controller for her own clients, and Lorna Timms is the Data Controller for hers. The treating practitioner is always the Data Controller for your records.
To protect patient safety, ensure continuity of care, manage risk and maintain business continuity, another practitioner may occasionally need to access your records — for example during sickness or absence cover, an emergency or out-of-hours treatment, or in the event of serious illness, incapacity or operational disruption affecting your usual practitioner. Any such access is necessary, proportionate and documented. In these situations the accessing practitioner acts only as a Data Processor; your treating practitioner remains the Data Controller throughout.
We process your data lawfully, fairly and transparently, and collect it only for specific clinical purposes. We gather only the information that is relevant, keep records accurate and up to date, and retain data only for as long as it is required. Your data is stored securely at all times to protect its integrity and confidentiality.
We collect your name, date of birth and contact details, medical history, treatment records, photos (with your consent), and payment and appointment information. This is used to provide safe treatment, meet our legal and insurance obligations, manage your appointments, communicate with you, and — only with your consent — for marketing purposes.
We rely on healthcare provision (Article 9), contractual necessity, legal obligation, and your consent as the lawful bases for processing your personal data.
You have the right to request a copy of your personal data (a Subject Access Request) in writing or by email; this will be provided securely and in a clear, readable format within 30 days. You can ask us to correct inaccurate data, though we may need evidence to maintain clinical accuracy, and you can request erasure of your data — though clinical records required for legal or insurance purposes must be retained, while marketing data can be removed immediately. You may also ask us to restrict how your data is used, request it in a structured electronic format for transfer to another provider, or object to certain processing such as marketing. We do not carry out any automated decision-making that affects your care.
Health and treatment records are stored securely using encrypted systems and kept for a minimum of 8 years in line with our storage limitation obligations. Paper records are digitised and safely destroyed, and marketing data is removed as soon as you ask us to stop.
If you have concerns, contact us first. You can also raise complaints with the ICO if needed.
You are responsible for keeping your personal and health information accurate and up to date.

Our Sustainability Pledge

We value everything that is beautiful — that means you, and our planet! Holly has been an eco warrior since she was a child, and we believe that if the earth does well, so do we. From the outset of the business, we've aimed to keep sustainability and our eco promises at the forefront of everything we do.

We're working towards being 100% paper-light — consultation forms and before-and-after care advice are all completed electronically, and we don't flyer through doors.
The medical industry generates huge amounts of packaging, much of which sadly goes to landfill even in places like the NHS. At Purple Aura, packaging makes up over 75% of our waste — and we recycle every bit of it.
We carefully choose packaging for the products we retail to keep it to the least amount required, and to ensure it's easily recycled at home. Where possible, it's sustainably sourced and made from recycled materials itself.
We purchase from eco-conscious and outstandingly ethical companies wherever we can — and yes, Holly's reusable coffee flask makes an appearance at every appointment!
As Purple Aura grows, our sustainability promise grows with it. Keep your eyes peeled — and we'd love to hear any feedback or ideas, with hopes of partnering with local initiatives along the way.

Terms & Conditions

We require 48 hours notice of an appointment cancellation (for both treatment and consultation appointment slots). A refund of your booking fee will not be granted after this time.
A £50 booking fee is required for consultations and most treatments, although some exceptions apply (such as £25 for phlebotomy or 50% for certain procedures). For new client consultations, this fee is redeemable against the cost of treatment if carried out within six months. Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled via the confirmation email, or refunds can be requested if booked in clinic. If at least 48 hours' notice is given, the booking fee will be refunded (this may take up to 10 working days). However, cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice will result in the loss of the booking fee. In cases of genuine emergencies, discretion may be applied, though a £10 administration fee may be charged, and repeated emergency cancellations may lead to the full fee being retained. For treatments requiring strict pre-care, such as laser or IPL, failure to follow instructions will result in the treatment being declined and the booking fee being non-refundable.
We are committed to providing the highest standards of safety and care at Purple Aura. In line with updated guidelines from the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) and the Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners (JCCP) effective from 1st June 2025, our treatment and prescribing policies have been revised. All prescriptions now require a face-to-face consultation with your prescriber. For repeat treatments, such as Botox, an in-person review is required after each session, and a consultation framework will be followed to assess any changes in your medical history, medications, supplements, allergies, or general health, particularly if more than six months have passed. It is the responsibility of each client or patient to provide accurate information and keep Purple Aura updated with any changes.
For prescription treatments, a non-refundable booking fee of 50% is required; however, this is transferable against the cost of your treatment, as the prescribed products are personalised and can only be used for you. If you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment and provide at least 48 hours' notice, your product can be stored for up to six months and used at a later appointment. After this period, the product will be safely discarded and is not eligible for a refund. If there are any changes to your medical history or medication during this time, a new consultation will be required, which may incur an additional charge. If less than 48 hours' notice is given, your product will still be held for six months, but an additional £50 fee will be charged when the product is used. Due to prescribing regulations, these products cannot be administered by another practitioner or taken elsewhere, and any unused product after six months will be disposed of in line with legal requirements without refund.
Consultations for aesthetic procedures at Purple Aura are charged at £50, which is redeemable against the cost of treatment if you choose to proceed, effectively making the consultation complimentary. If you decide not to go ahead with treatment, the £50 fee is retained in recognition of the time and expert advice provided, which you are free to use elsewhere. Consultation appointments are standalone sessions focused on discussing treatment options, with no procedures carried out during this time. Some treatments may require a patch test, so it is important to review the pre- and post-care information sent at the time of booking. Review consultations for specific treatments are shorter, cost £30, and are not redeemable.
We as practitioners reserve the right to refuse treatment where our clinicians deem it inappropriate for any reason. The clinician's decision is final in this regard and where a fee has been paid this will be a non-refundable in accordance with reasoning laid out in T&C's.
Purple Aura offers a phlebotomy (blood-drawing) service only and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, result interpretation, or treatment. The cost of a phlebotomy appointment is £25, or £30 if a blood draw kit is not provided, with the £25 booking fee subject to the standard cancellation policy.
Purple Aura offers a mole and skin lesion imaging service using photography and dermoscopy, priced at £50 for up to three lesions. This service provides high-quality images only and does not include clinical examination, diagnosis, or medical opinion. As an optional bolt-on, your images can be sent to Map My Mole, an independent third-party service, for an indicative opinion from a CQC-registered consultant dermatologist, at an additional cost of £70. It remains your responsibility to seek urgent GP or dermatologist advice if you have any concerns about a changing or growing mole or lesion.
Treatments using energy-based machines, such as laser or IPL, and larger procedures including dermal filler packages and facial profiling, require strict adherence to pre-care instructions for your safety, and carry a 50% booking fee due to the length and nature of the appointment. If pre-care hasn't been followed on the day, treatment will be declined for your safety and the booking fee will be non-refundable and non-transferable.
We do not issue refunds for cancellations caused by an Act of God — an event outside human control, such as a flood, earthquake, or severe weather including snow and ice. We accept no liability for loss resulting from a clinic cancelled for this reason, including delays to sequential treatments, though we'll always make every reasonable effort to rearrange your appointment. Where the majority of clients booked into an affected clinic are impacted, any rearranged appointment will be offered free of additional charge.
Please note that we do not provide treatments for anyone aged under 18 years.

Giving Back

It is our belief that success should be for "the greatest good of all concerned". This is why we are committed to Giving back. We have partnered with a wonderful local charity called "daisy's dream" that works towards helping children through grief following the death of a parent or carer. Children are our future and in a crazy world they have so much to overcome.

Daisy's Dream Mission

To respond to every child or young person who needs our support. Those children and young people and their families who have been affected by life threatening illness or bereavement of someone close to them. We offer a flexible service which is tailored to meet the individual needs of each child and their family.

Microsclerotherapy — Pre & Post Treatment Advice
Pre-Treatment Advice
  • Do not use lotions or oils on your skin 24 hours prior to your treatment.
  • Dress in loose, comfortable clothing on the day of treatment to allow for your support hosiery.
  • Bring your support knee socks or stockings with you to the clinic on the day of treatment.
Post-Treatment Advice
  • Take a 10-minute walk immediately after your treatment.
  • Some discomfort following this procedure is normal and expected.
  • Support hosiery should be worn for 72 hours day and night post-treatment, removing only to shower or bathe.
  • Treatment areas may look worse when you remove the hosiery — this is completely normal at this stage.
  • Avoid extreme temperatures for 14 days — very hot baths, saunas, steam rooms, sun beds, and ice packs.
  • Avoid sun exposure for 4 weeks, as pigmentation may be enhanced and take longer to fade.
  • Avoid high-impact exercise for at least 2 weeks post-treatment.
  • Avoid waxing of the legs for 4 weeks, as waxing can increase the occurrence of thread veins.
  • Elevate your legs as much as possible at rest for the first 2 weeks post-treatment.
  • Consider wearing long-term support hosiery to reduce the appearance of thread veins.
  • Do not forget to bring your support hosiery with you to subsequent treatment sessions.
If you are concerned about anything following your treatment, please contact Purple Aura on 07727 053097.
